Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is tucked away above Corfe Castle in a very quiet location, ideal for exploring the beautiful Isle of Purbeck. The service was mixed, with incredibly friendly and accommodating staff but lacking personal touches like an inquiry about our stay upon checkout. The dining experience was superb, serving high-quality meals in a unique setting of a logging/timber facility. Overall, a great spot for a family wedding with amazing views and plenty of walks right from the doorstep.
The hotel provided a comfortable stay with very clean rooms offering a peaceful view of Corfe Castle and the coastline. The excellent breakfast amidst windy and rainy weather was a delightful surprise. However, the lack of interaction from staff upon checkout was a drawback.
My stay at the hotel was quite pleasant. The rooms were spacious and clean, but the outdoor lights could be bothersome. The service was top-notch and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The location was great for exploring nearby attractions, although some improvements could be made. The dining experience was satisfactory, and the facilities were adequate for a comfortable stay.
The hotel offers clean and comfortable rooms with lovely views over the Purbeck hills, but some areas need updating. Its location is ideal for exploring the Isle of Purbeck and nearby attractions. The dining experience is varied, with a great selection for different preferences, although some dishes may have been left out for too long. Overall, a pleasant stay with room for improvement in certain areas.
The hotel offers a great price and has everything one would need, although there were some issues with cobwebs, spiders, and woodlice. The service was extremely friendly and accommodating, always prompt and helpful. The location was brilliant for visiting nearby attractions, despite some minor issues with dirty crockery. The dining experience offered a good choice of quality foods.
